Nicolas Kerdiles was born on January 11, 1994, in Lewisville, Texas. His family moved often due to his father’s job, finally settling in Irvine, California. There, Nicolas started with roller hockey. At eight, he switched to ice hockey, joining the Los Angeles Kings’ youth team. In 2007, he played in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Los Angeles Hockey Club. Kerdiles, born to a French father and a French-Canadian mother, was a native French speaker. He began dating Savannah Chrisley, a reality TV star, in November 2017. The couple got engaged in 2019 but separated in September 2020. Kerdiles died in a motorcycle accident on September 23, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee, at 29. According to the police, he was riding his Indian Motorcycle when he allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with a BMW SUV. This happened around 3:30 a.m. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. An autopsy revealed his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit of 0.08. His death was ruled accidental.
